I WANT YOU ALL TO READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY!!!!! OKAY? :-) "Speaking to more than seven-thousand activists
Activists? Now Presidential supporters are activists? Wow, don't we sound extreme."

I wish to share a Surreal experience with everyone tonight....

I'm watching C-span tonight, (it's still on so WATCH IT!!!) They're re-broadcasting the presidential debates from the past. The Nixon-Kennedy debates are really telling. Two undeniably patriotic and very intelligent public servants with differences who express their opinions succinctly. In my opinion Kennedy won the debate. In fact, as a republican, I am proud to say that I enjoyed his every word.

On the other channel was Apocalypse Now; at the same time. This movie brings home the difficulties for all concerned of that war. You figure.. For me it brought things, the real issues, into clear perspective. To listen to the eloquence of Kennedy then, I find that he is much more, without a doubt, in line with the George Bush of now than with Kerry. There is absolutely no doubt about this. Kennedy recognized the Communist threat then as Bush recognizes the terror threat now. Kennedy and Nixon were leaders with a keen vision of the future, tempered with a respectful but full understanding of world history. The next debate was Bush vs Dukakis (sp?). And I was reminded how embarrassed how Dukakis, then, made me feel to be American of Greek descent. No more embarrassed however, by George Soros now. George Bush is not Kennedy. He is not a Nixon nor does he have the enate style of Reagan. But do you know something? He is a leader of men and women in a common cause. He surrounds himself with the best people and gives them the mandate to achieve his objectives, which are good for this country. Who does Kerry have? Only those who are uncomfortable with freedom and a strong America. nikos PS--I will tell you right now, I intend to spread this thought tonight...so don't be upset with me if you read this again.

Wow. That exchange right now about the judicial appointments was almost word for word in some respects to what George W. said last night!

Did you hear that? Litmus test, interpret consitution only, not legislate from the bench and so on.
