From your finger tips to God's eyes!
Interesting how with all the talk about whether Bush won the 2nd debate...no one is talking about how Kerry lost. Kerry sat there obviously trying to prove he could force a smile, looking like some dork named Maximilian from the local yacht club who thinks he shouldn't have been passed over for the latest James Bond role. He spent more time talking to the moderator as if he didn't feel comfortable talking to middle America.
I thought John Kerry looked really bad last night.
He'll probably have to import supporters for the next debate in Az.
LOL - you forgot to mention that he managed to look down his nose at the entire audience last night, stating that he, President Bush and Charles Gibson were the only ones in the room that would be affected by raising taxes on those earning over $200,000.
Cheney impacted this.
Can't wait to see the photo op of John trying his hand at bit of birling to woo some of the lumberjack vote back to his side.
electoral-vote.com says that as of now it's
Kerry 280 Bush 248 (PREDICTED) but when you click their
"projected final map" it's:
Kerry 203 Bush 316
Some states that they now have in blue, like NV, WI,
and PA, are predicted to go for Bush. His current
numbers may reflect polls taken just after debate #1
and more than a few states he has for Kerry are just BARELY for him (by 1 or 2 points) and I think they will switch to Bush. He also has NH as a tossup and I believe W can win it. (C'mon, Granite Staters...I think W won by 7,000 votes last time? There should be an even more
obvious W win there now...)
We'll need 5 points to overcome the "graveyard" vote. Gotta keep working at it.
I agree. We should be very thankful to Cheney--who decisively wiped the floor with Edwards. The bounce from the debate Bush won last night will take a day or two to show up.
Might as well count Colorado for Bush too, Kerry won't win there, so you can up the rasmussen total a little. Maryland is Kerry's with no problem, Michigan is Kerry's as well. However, I must say I think everyone is overdoing the Bush bounce in rasmussen, his numbers can move around because of the three day tracking. There is a fair chance it drops to 2 points tommorrow, but hey who knows how the debate will play out in the next few days. For my part, it seems Bush did very well last night.
Drudge has these ratings: NBC averaged a 7.4 rating/13 share, ABC 6.0/10; CBS third at 4.9/8
I'll be "on edge" until Kerry's concession has lasted for at least 24hrs.
That's why it's so important that we get the word out about W's incredible performance. Letters to the editor anyone?
My first two were the $200,000 income fiasco by Kerry and the "I have a plan" mantra.
Yeah..
Debate Review Results
Debate #1..Bad Reviews....W's numbers go up
Debate #2..Good Reviews..W's numbers go up
I think one more debate aughta just about cinch it :-)
I did the same.
Interesting point. I was wondering what could have caused this sudden uplift in Bush's numbers (considering that hardly any of the interviews were done after his debate last night) and then you reminded me of Cheney's crushing of Edwards earlier in the week. Hopefully, Bush's performance last night will register in the polls by the beginning or middle of next week.
If so, the pressure is on Kerry for the last debate, which I instinctively feel will be a draw. After that, if Bush has a decent lead in the mid-single digits, there are only three weeks left for Kerry to claw back.
On top of all this, we have the promised focus on Kerry's liberal Senate record by the Bush campaign and Rove's "couple of surprises", whatever they turn out to be. Advantage Bush.
Yep. Principle out the window. What a shame !!!!
