As someone in that group, who spent several decades in school and training, it's nice to know my reward is to be punished for success. By the way, as someone who's smarter then the senator, my response is going to be to cut back my hours so that I stay right at the 200k line. Not worth it to me to work so hard for less then 50cents on the dollar. Lifes too short.

People smart and industrious enough to be successful aren't going to play fools, roll over and work harder for less.
