I have family in Australia. Very nice people. They come over to visit sometimes.

Heck, for a time, my father lived in Australia for boarding school (Melbourne to be exact). Along with my uncles. From what I understand, he had some great memories over there. If it wasn't so hard for him to get an Australian citizen ship, my family could've been Australian! And, while I'm proud of being an American, given the many wonderful things I hear about Australia and its people, I wouldn't have mind if fate took a different path for me.

I'm sure you wouldn't have minded if fate had taken a different turn. We're lucky to have such a steadfast ally by our side. As an American, I'll take the Aussies over the French and the Germans any day. At least they don't run for the tall grass when the going gets difficult.
