Why do the dims get a higer percentage? Is that standard, or are there more of them? Or is it the usual bias?

Some pollsters claim the 39-35-26 percentages reflect the turnout ratios for the 2000 election; however, we now live in a 'post-911' and 'post-2002 election' world -- I'm convinced the percentages are now either 40-40-20 or 45-45-10 (I'm leaning more toward the latter)!!!!
