You are right, there is no free lunch, and I learned that nostrum at the feet of the chap that coined the phrase, just cross subsidization of drugs to our German, French and Canadian friends from American drug consumers and taxpayers. Isn't that simply splendid?
And if there is very little profit and high liability exposure, there is no flu vaccine either.
