Don't you love how these pro-abortion folks will actually PUSH for embryonic stem cells when other stem cells and indeed OTHER SUBSTANCES are proving just as or more useful for cures???? It's like they would RATHER a baby died for their illness than not!
I think it was USC that did stem cell research on liposuctioned fat and created stem cells from it that could be used to grow new organs or bone.
That should give us all a reason to embrace our body fat.
I wish Bush would have pointed out that the stem cell research ban from fetuses is not prohibited in privately funded research. I think that is a distinction that needs to be made.
Yes --- it's the big Stem Cell lie --- Kerry and others present stem cells as the cure-all for every kind of disease there is --- and there is no proof, no evidence at all that stem cells are going to cure anything at all.
Not to put too fine a point on this, but people who are lost will be only too willing to have someone (i.e. ANYONE) pay a price so their own lives will be extended. Fact of life. (No pun intended.)
