Good take but I'm more partisan than you and not quite as analytical thoguh you know I try to be honest.

I was as proud of Bush tonight as I was the day my brother was named the all state middle linebacker in New York those many years ago.

The only hits Kerry scored was when he invoked Hagel, Lugar and McCain. The three of them need to stand up and be counted one way or the other tomorrow.

McCain has been wishy washy, the other two silent when Kerry invokes their names as though they came down from the mount.

By the way, Bush smoked Kerry on tort reform when he mentioned the costs of defensive medicine, which is a massive waste, and was not in Kerry's tort numbers, but then Kerry and numbers are not the way for Kerry to win. Numbers for Kerry are a toxic waste dump (for him), if fully fathomed. That was an orgasmic moment for me. Bush recaptured tort reform as a weapon of mass destruction against the usual suspects, the loci of which at the moment is Kerry-EDWARDS. Bring it on!
