I remember last week. I was guardedly optimistic, but I knew that the distress of the Freepers was genuine. Bush had let Kerry back in the race. And now?
Any hope that Kerry could advance on Bush has been brought to an end. Kerry's momentum has come to a grinding halt. Heck, it actually halted at the end of last weekend when Kerry's debate performance began to fade into memory.
The fact that the Freepers are almost universally happy; the fact that Buchanan, of all people, is saying that Bush took Kerry to the woodshed, tells me that Bush won out in the country tonight.
