Bill Cristol: Bush plan: exposing Kerry as a liberal; generally effective. Kerry said he'd not raise taxes on middle class. Kerry went out of his way to say he'd be as tough as Bush on terror; Bush not effectively answering this (the Fox guys are helping Bush with this point - that Kerry voted against Gulf War I).

Mort Kondraki - though Bush on defense a lot (HUH?).
Fred Barnes - muchg better than before. Comes out a tie. (HUH?) Missed great chance to nail Kerry on the Gulf War I vote.
