This, my friends, is more like it.

Tonight was a well-played debate. The president took a bit to warm up but, over the past hour, he's been about as good as he can be, honestly.

If viewers came into this debate looking for a weak G Dub, they come away impressed, IMO.

Very, very good. We got some good, red-meat, conservative v. liberal parry and thrust tonight.

Honestly, I thing the excellence of this debate was driven by the quality of the questions, which were far more balanced than debate one.

Good, good job. Good show.

The President kicked butt 100%.
And the liberal media will call it "Kerry Wins Debate!"
Kerry is a lying sack o' spuds, and I could run his campaign for him. Just take whatever Bush says, and say "well, I have a plan" and say the opposite.

duh.

The 'Global Test' stuff has stuck. Kerry feels it necessary to use his closing remarks to address that very perception of him.

That adds points to the President in the first debate...

I am glad it's a Friday night. Later I want to go through and read replies. I've been posting but only read a few comments here and there as we flew along.

Bush giving statement: Who can lead? Who can get things done.
