Anyway....Bush just did a great job emphasizing balance, balance, balance, balance.
I heard that cheering too...it almost sounded like it came through the walls from outside the hall...
Bush is asked if vacancy on Supreme Court. "Not telling" he jokes but then goes on to say it would be someone who does not allow their personal opinoin to enter into following the law.
One example is someone who does not think the "under God" in pledge should be there. That's personal opinion, not law.
Strict constructionist. Legislators make laws.
