October 8th Bush/Kerry Debate
Interesting tagline.
Agreed. If Fox News turns left, then they'll be a ship without a port.
I sent my nasty E-Mail about an hour ago.
5 seconds that is close.
(BTW not the worst episode lol)
Although, that strategically positioned hag (in the purple jump suit) sneering and grimacing over Dubya's shoulder on every camera shot is bugging me.
There was another woman from the same publication on Cspan this morning and I got so furious with her I couldn't watch long. I can't believe I can't think of what made me yell so loud at her and scare the cats, but it was ridiculous.
I have no place to go on tv that isn't stacked against Bush. They aren't even trying to throw in a token RINO, it is just like minded liberals agreeing that Bush is bad. I just heard the guy from the Hotline say that the consensus among reporters after the debate is that Bush was mean and angry tonight and that would be the theme in their coverage tomorrow.
The latest from the girl you disliked was that Kerry planned his performance tonight in order to put Bush on the defensive and make him the focus. I saw a different debate where Kerry's record started finally being the issue.
BTW Bush's Dred Scot reference was AWESOME! I hope I'm not the only one who read between the lines.
I'm afriad only the very insightful grasped the meaning there.. I wish he'd taken just another 2 seconds to develop that idea -- like you just did -- to draw the parallel with "slavery". It would have multiplied the impact for many listeners. Even so, it was awesome!
The memos have obviously been distributed from the DNC to the MSM. Any rational observer would conclude that GW CRUSHED Kerry tonight. The voters will react accordingly, even if the MSM does not. Don't know why I recalled that hideous Star Trek episode. My 15 hour workdays must be getting to me. See ya around (sleep time for me too).
That's the great thing about Ann. She digs in her high-heels and won't budge. Fox really needs to fumigate these shows. Bill Sammon is another I'd nominate for his own show. Or Krauthammer! Oh I love Krauthammer!
I think Kerry must have been put off balance from the very start with the wishy-washy question first thing. The fact the moderator loaded that question first is interesting, to say the least. I cannot think of ANY way Kerry could have handled it particularly well.
Ron Silver on MSNBC - doing great!
Was it a "I paid for this microphone!" moment? Or was it just a threshold test?
And get this! I subscribe to the WAAAAY Loony Left CLG Newsletter ... they are so far left they're in orbit, and here's what the DU'd polls are showing so far. The funny thing is, they actually seem to believe that these are legit. The 'bots are in action. (BTW, I voted for W in the CBS poll, where I am in the company of 11% of voters.)

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Who's going to take THESE polls seriously?!
Before you go Tom, what do you think the odds are that Kerry is telling the truth that he was actually "in Kyoto" when he defended his support of that abysmal anti-American ploy.
The latest odds from the Mandalay Sports Book is that it's 12:1 he's lying.
I sent this message to speakout@foxnews.com:
I am surprised at having to write this, because I am a huge fan of Fox News, and especially Brit Hume's Special Report, but I was terribly disappointed with the debate coverage at Fox, both before and after the actual debate. The normally excellent Brit Hume spent most of the time before the debate praising everyone at ABC News, due presumably to his relationships with people there, including carrying water for the author of a memo advocating harsher scrutiny for the President than Senator Kerry.
After the debate, I was stunned to see Bill Kristol and Mort Kondracke indicate that KERRY, and not Bush, had won the debate. This after a debate where Bush absolutely clobbered Kerry. (Did they see how Kerry was so defensive about the "liberal" label, and how confident and impressive the President was in pressing the advantage on every category? Did they see the "gotcha" moment when Kerry indicated that we needed good intelligence, and then Bush talked about Kerry's vote to CUT intelligence funding after the first WTC bombing?)
(By the way, I agreed that Kerry had won in the first debate, but Bush absolutely murdered him in this one.) Even Fred Barnes inexplicably judged this "a tie." After listening to coverage that was so obviously off the mark, I changed over to MSNBC, where the coverage of the debate was spot-on accurate. I hope that this is not a harbinger of things to come, because I am a big fan of Fox News. Tonight was certainly not Fox News' finest hour.
I'm watching a rebroadcast right now...the guy named "Robin" and Iraq. Wow, Bush looks even better on tape...just kicking Kerry's A**!
"Okay man, I don't have first-hand knowledge (seriously), but from what I hear, the drugs from Canada are just FINE..... ;)"
I realize I'm reading this several hours after you posted, but I have to respond to this.
It really has nothing to do with the safeness of the drug. The problem is that we subsidize R & D for probably 90% of the world.
Allowing the import of our own discounted drugs from Canada will suck billions of dollars out of research.
The people who want to buy from Canada are the same shits who will be bitching and moaning when they come down with some new disease in 20 years ago and there is no drug to treat it.
