He started "thanking" them in '71 before the Senate.

I have a question. Wasn't Kerry still in the reserves when he met with North Vietnamese in Paris? If that was so, isn't it against the UCMJ for a member of the armed services to meet with a representative of a power with whom we are at war?

Very Nice.

And he was given a by on a serious offense... I wonder if he will ever be charged with anything because of it. Probably not, considering he is a Senator and a presidential nominee

Are you kidding!? He's an elitist Democrat!! He considers it an act of kindness to even acknowledge their existence!!!
To "thank them", he would have to be grateful for the sacrifices our servicemen have made to enable him to be where he is today. Show me a Democrat (other than Zell Miller) who honestly appreciates the sacrifices of the military.
