No objective person could disagree with that assessment.
Cheney delivered the goods and the ABC poll just shown on the TV reflected this in spades. I thought Cheney won by a smaller edge than ABC had.
Again it was a repeat of: 'no substance' by the Dems, attack the current execution of the war in Iraq, and promise more feel good spending.
Cheney was down in the first 15 minutes or so, but then came roaring back and kicked butt. I still think Cheney could have done a better job of ripping up the walking Breck-man and his "girlie-man economics." I wished he would have attacked John's John being a trial lawyer.
It was amazing how Edwards talked about he and "Senator Kerry," then about 1/2 way through Edwards switched over to referring to his running mate as "John" in a more personal way. Vice President Cheney usually referred to President Bush as "Mr. President" or "President Bush" which I thought was very reverential and showed great loyalty on his part.
I guess if Edwards develops a long face, orange skin, buck white teeth, throws football like a girlie-man, then he would qualify to refer to the candidate from Mars as "John."

Not even Tim Russert and Ton Brokaw disagreed, and we know they're not objective!
