Totally disagree. She did an outstanding job. Hard on both sides. Thought a couple questions were curious, but lets be fair, gay marriage is a big issue, and in fact it is a winner for the GOP so good to be brought up. The AIDS question was a stunner that had to have caught both by surprise. Much much better then Lehrer

Tonight's moderator was a hundred times better than Lehrer.

I was pleasantly surpised. I think she did a good job as well. Then again, if they come across as biased, they know they will get their heads handed to them within a couple of days.

I suggest you read the transcript tomorrow and you will see what I mean. You will see that the questions were directed at Cheney/Bush. Kerry/Edwards could have asked the same questions. You will also notice how she editorialzed to support Edwards. The question about Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the lack of US involvement was a prime example along with the AIDs question. She was no better than Leher.

Except for gays, lesbians, and black women with aids, Gwen Ifill did a pretty good job of asking tough, important questions of both men, questions of import to the entire country, not just special social interest qroups.

Susan Estrich is drunk.
