I caught that. I thought it was almost like a double take.
That boy was in way over his head tonight.
All I want for Christmas is a looped tape of Cheney going after "Senator Gone." That was masterful.
Please explain the "Senator Gone" thing. (I had to work during most of the debate.)
My favorite part was when Cheney oh-so-smoothly let drop the info on the $600,000 loophole that Edwards had used to avoid paying Medicare (I think -- forgot the specifics) tax. Edwards was FLUMMOXED! Babbling, speechless, blushing to the roots of his hair, not daring to deny it, only able to babble back that Halliburton had no doubt taken advantage of similar loopholes and stuttering, "We need to close those loopholes, close those loopholes ..." It was priceless. It knocked him off-kilter for the next five questions!
My husband said it was like having a really bad fourth hole in a golf game!
