Cheney won. No doubt. He nailed Edwards on foreign policy issues and brought the tone of the campaign back from the fiasco of the first debate. Once again, the issue is Kerry's record, not Bush's funny faces.

Ifill did a great job. She gave tough questions to both candidates (unlike Jim Lehrer, who never really got tough with Kerry).

In four years, they should give her the star debate to moderate and not ask Lehrer to come back at all. The man can't be trusted to put his biases aside.

I totally agree with that. Cheney kicked some serious bootie tonight, but he was assisted by the fact that Gwen Ifill asked Edwards just as tough questions as she asked Cheney.

Edwards looked like a wet-behind-the-ears little schoolboy who was caught throwing spitballs through the whole thing. No way did he win that debate.

I did enjoy Gwen Ifill as a moderator. She was fair, and her questions were right on the mark.

I agree. The Moderator did a very good job compared to Lehrer. She needs a little more practice keeping track of who is supposed to talk when. But her questions were fair.
