Cheney beat Edward slike a rented mule. I almost felt sorry for Edwards. Don't get me wrong: Edwards is the emerging talent of the party, but Cheney was brilliant and absolutely mutilated the poor Senator from Carolina.

Please don't ever say that again. Edwards is the Senator from North Carolina. We kicked his family out of South Carlonia many years ago.
