If I had any sliver of regard for Edwards (and believe you me...a very thin, very tiny speck-of-sand sliver)...I lost it totally and completely and forever when he brought VP Cheney's family, and especially his daughter, into the question about gay marriage. What a disgusting, despicable, slimey direction to go with his (JE's) response. For this alone, I hope he and sKerry are slammed/creamed/doomed in the election.
I thought that Cheney's response to Edwards mention of his daughter was pure class. I do hope that the next time Cheney meets up with Edwards in the senate he has a F YOU for him.
