ABC News just reported that Cheney won the debate over Edwards by a score of 43 percent to 35 percent, with 19 percent undecided (I think).

Considering it was an ABC news survey, I'd add 10 points for Cheney.

What was the margin of error? If the margin of error overlaps the numbers then it is effectively a tie since you could interpret the results either way.

This wasn't just a "style over substance" victory, this was an operating room and Cheney was the surgeon. The "this is the first time I met you", and the constant Edwards, "whoops! I broke the rules again!" comments, along with Cheney's "Thank you for the kind comments about my family" classy response to the Edwards stab at his family were my favorite parts.

Second favorite part was when Cheney smacked him with the "well, I wasn't selected to win electoral votes, since Wyoming only has three." This is the worst whipping I've ever seen in a debate, including "you're no John Kennedy," and Reagan's immortal, "I will not make the youth and inexperience of my opponent an issue in this campaign."
