Cheney is PISSED!
Edwards: "We were attacked by A.Q. and instead began plans for invasion of Iraq. THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN SADDAM HUSSEIN AND 9/11. PERIOD."
Boy, that's a ledge I wouldn't want to be out on.
Cheney: "The Senator's got his facts wrong. I haven't suggested there's a connection. But there is clearly a connection between Iraq and terror..." Talks about the weapons Saddam has used over the years. "THEY HAVE A VERY LIMITED VIEW" on how to handle terror. Mentions global test. YES! Cheney is kicking Edwards rear end. Kerry voted to cut spending on military spending. "Consistent pattern of being on wrong side of defense issues." GREAT JOB.
Edwards is definitely a trial lawyer. You don't have to argue the truth, just the side you are getting paid to argue. He's out to sway the jury and is very good at making the kind of emotional arguments that made him over 150 million.
Cheney will have to play hardball with this guy, and I think he's ramping up.
Cheney is ALWAYS pissed! and rightly so.
