According to the "results", that smirking, smarmy, southern stereotype white trash Edwards "won" the debate. GET REAL!! There's no way a normal human being could consider this even a contest. Cheney whupped that puppy soundly!

I think he's saying that, like Arthur, Cheney just went out and slew the Black Knight himself. He killed not only Edwards tonight, he reached out and smacked Kerry around pretty good, too.

Sorry but it was called for and the polls clearly say Bush lost. The idea that we cannot acknowledge that in a live thread is just not reasonable.
By the way I have had nothing but praise for Cheney in this debate and haven't gotten a tenth of the responses I got when I criticized Bush in the first debate.
Unfortunately posters seem to respond to the negative. I will nevertheless post my honest viewpoint.

I caught the first half of tonight's debate on radio, and it was sounding as if Cheney was wiping the floor with dEdwards. I'm perplexed by your apparent sour attitude, but I'm pleased to learn that TV was rendering the same judgment that radio did.

I wrote insurance for a gay male couple. They told me they had everything taken care of too. When one cheated on the other, the cuckhold stabbed the other one with a dinner fork in the chest. Thank goodness we didn't write health insurance for these folks. Later on after the wound healed, they asked me to notarize a palimony agreement for them. Weirdest thing I've ever done.

and it's crucial, too, that Bush close the deal. i'm still worried about those upcoming debates. i just hope it is stressed to Bush how much he needs to come out swinging. he needs to get angry because he talks more naturally/better when he's angry :o)
