I suspect it would bring a collective cheer from conservatives across the nation.

A Bush-Cheney staff member called the Kerry campaign to complain about Leahy's prominence.I swear, the BC'04 needs to stop complaining about small stuff like seating arrangements at debates. Dick Cheney is going to be at his top form as per usual.

I hope Chaney keeps looking at leaky Leahey and it just gets his juices flowing and his anger up so that he bitchslaps Breck Girl all over that auditorium tonight.
That weaselly ambulance chaser won't know what hit him.

These people have no class.

A naked guy would distract Edwards...LOLROFLMAO
So to distract them both, the story goes, all we need is a nude Pat Leahy?

Cheney should find a way to drop Leahy's name during the debate. Make a joke at Leahy's expense. Mention how Democrats cannot be trusted with classified information all the while smiling at Leahy. Make him squirm in his seat so after he feels compelled to respond with a nasty remark to the press. That's a very good idea. ;)

Id rather see Gwen Ifill removed as moderator, Cheney will be fine. I've emailed this witch many, many times, asking her if she has ever had a member of her Washington Week in Review panel who ever, ever voted for a Republican. I had to raise my ire quite a bit before she finally responded. She didn't answer my question but rather told me to stop watching, even though every time I wrote to her I told her that I never watch, I just surf by to see who was on the panel.

Cheney should open his remarks with:
Good evening Senator Edwards, my fellow citizens, and nice to see you again, Senator Leahy.

Is Leahy Edwards lifeline?
Keep an eye out for Leaky L holding up flashcards.

I swear, the BC'04 needs to stop complaining about small stuff like seating arrangements at debates. I don't for a moment believe this actually happened. I don't think you should believe it either. McAuliffe can claim whatever phone call he wants....don't make it so.

A Bush-Cheney staff member called the Kerry campaign to complain about Leahy's prominence.Knowing the AP, no longer a news source but rather a transcription service of the DNC, that's probably not true.

Perhaps Cheney will talk about how the RATs in the Senate have obstructed judicial nominees and mention that one of the major obstructers is sitting in the front row.

Cheney could get all "Goodfellas" on him: "Leahy, what the hell are you doing here, I thought I told you to go f**k yourself!"

Now if they had put Susan Estrich down there in front...Now we don't want Cheney re-enacting scenes from the excorcist, do we? Although I do find that pea green is a good color for Susan, if there is one.

Good. Maybe having Pat Leahy in the first row will get Dick worked up into a fighting mood.
To: gopwinsin04
Id rather see Gwen Ifill removed as moderator, Cheney will be fine.Exactly. Gwen Ifill is as partisan as they come, so you can bet that if Halliburton comes up, she'll be the one to touch on the subject and grill Cheney over it. Cheney will knock that out of the ballpark.
