What will the October surprise be?
bobjam

Posted on 10/05/2004 9:58:48 AM PDT by bobjam

Conventional wisdom now holds that both the Bush/Cheney and the Kerry/Edwards campaigns have planned surprises in order to shake the race in their favor this month. What could those surprises be? Here are some suggestions, are there any others?

Bush surprises for Kerry: 1) Bush meets with Allawi in Baghdad 2) Questions arise over Kerry's and Edwards's taxes

Kerry surprises for Bush: 1) Allegations that Bush got a girl pregnant and talked her into an abortion in the early 70's

3. Kerry's "Burning Down the Hut" film found.

If they find it, put on Talking Heads' Burning Down the House as the soundtrack (evil grin)

I'm betting the Swiftee's have saved their best for last!

Both Rush and Sean Hannity have said that the Swifties have an ad ready to roll this month that is absolutely devastating. When Rush was talking about it, he was using his "this-is-going-to-be-absolutely-delicious" voice.

I personally prefer Rump Wrangler, Baloney Smuggler, Colon Comrade, or Pants Weasel Worshiper.

But of course, that's just my opinion.

The surprize will come in November, when Kerry wins.

I do not believe Kerry will win.

I DO believe it is possible that he will take the election through massive voter fraud.

Top ten list of October Surprises:

#10: John Kerry prefers Bush Country Ketchup on his burgers.

#9: The still-alive Osama Bin Laden has given up a life of terror and now drives a taxicab medallion in midtown Manhattan.

#8: A drunk Jenna and Barbara Bush caught doing a strip-tease after a few too many during a private Georgetown pub crawl.

#7: In a decision that sends reverberations through the Washington arts establishment, President Bush is chosen to play the lead role in the Ford Theater's reproduction of "Hamlet".

#6: Theresa Heinz-Kerry's closet full of whips and chains.

#5: You guessed it, Dick Cheney indeed turns out to be a highly advanced robot created by DARPA back in the '70s.

#4: Hillary Clinton burns all her black pantsuits and shows up in the Senate in a strapless evening gown number.

#3: John Edwards announces sudden decision to retire from law and politics and become a Buddhist monk in Tibet.

#2: Bob Woodward announces that Deep Throat was a woman named "Lucy Ramirez" who worked for Bill Burkett during his time in the Texas National Guard.

#1... A rejuvenated-looking Al Gore shocks the world with his tehnical acumen by winning a Nobel Prize for inventing a revolutionary new communication protocol built on IP v 6.0, replaces John Kerry on all state ballots and goes on to win the 2008 election.

On Larry King Live transcript

John Edwards, the man that could be a heartbeat away from our leader is a coward. On September 11, 2001 he fled the Capitol to his home...

'...I went on in to the -- to my Senate office building. Then we saw the second plane hit, and, of course, the strike on the Pentagon. I left the Capitol, because I was worried about my family. I left the Capitol, went home. I was there for a period of time.

And, actually, after I was there for a fairly short period of time, the Capitol Police came to my home, knocked on the door, and said that they were gathering up senators to take us to a -- to a safe or secure location. And I said, "Well, what about my wife and my kids?" And they said, "Well, they'll stay here."
