Becoming a republican, thumbs up. But wait a minute, are you saying you changed your political views and party just because some idoit threw you off a message board?
no--they made it crystal clear to me that I don't belong with them on their side. Like I said--they appear to be the party of McGovern--let's not protect American, let's blame America first for everything, let's pretend to support the troops--but we really disrepect them, and the flag, and religion.
Getting kicked off woke me up--I was very uncomfortable with what I saw there. Somehow, I had convinced myself that such views were the lunatic fringe--and I was shocked to have it rubbed in my face that this appears to be mainstream Democratic thought. I stood up for myself--and soldiers everywhere--when I did--they did not like it one bit. Like I said, even the person who defended me got banned. It made me really realize what they were all about.
So--I got smart. I am not bitter, I am glad that I know now where I stand.
