Much material in there to work with . . . but I was initially struck by this admission:

Jim Lehrer did not ask Jean a single question about his record as a United States Senator. Not ONE!
And why would Schiefer mention that he talked/conspired beforehand with Lehrer and then cover Lehrer for never asking a single question about Jean's record? The bias is abundantly evident.
that right there -- Bob Schieffer talking with Jim Lehrer -- before the first presidential debate on Thursday night, seems totally illegal to me.
