Letter from Col. George E. "Bud" Day regarding John Kerry

Col.Day is one our our true and "genuine" American Hero's. The liberal pathological liar opposing President Bush does not deserve to have his name on the same page as Col.Day. As a kid in Kansas,I personally wore Col.Day's Name,Rank and Date of Capture on my right wrist for years while he was in captivity. I still have the bracelet among my most cherished possessions from the past. Happy was the day I discovered he had survived.

just wanted to say Col. Day has been my hero since I was in high school! when he was stationed @ Niagara Falls AFB I babysat for "Maj" & Mrs Day - the boys were "Georgie & Stevie" The twins Sonja & Sandra were adopted just before he went off to Viet Nam. I think Mr 4 months & 3 days in country & I'm a hero too Kerry needs to really sit down & speak with Col Day, Lt John (Mike) McGrath, Cmdr Jeremiah Denton, Lt Cmdr Bob Shumaker,Lt Jg Everett Alvarez, Lt Col Robinson Risner, Cmdr James Stockdale, CaptGeorge McKnight, Capt. Douglas Peterson, Maj Fred Cherry, Lt Ron Bliss, Maj Sam Johnson, Lt Paul Galanti, Lt Kevin McManus, Lt Ed Mechenbier, Col Tom Madison - just to name a few who can REALLY give him a true picture of what courage & heroism is.
Some of the aforementioned men kept Sen. John McCain alive in Viet Nam not Sen Kerry. Have politics healed all his wounds?
