No one has ever obtained a patent for an N machine in the U.S. Tom Beardon and associates received a US patent in 2002... US Patent 6,362,718: Motionless Electromagnetic Generator (MEG)

Tin Foil Hat Alert This is right up there with the 'inventor' in the 1930s who developed a carburator that would give every car 200 mpg of gas. It was 'of course' bought up by Big Oil and he was silenced.
Is there vacuum energy in space?
You betcha.
Is this story true?
No way.
If anyone had built a working generator and the Govt had confiscated it, they would be powering every military and space vehicle we have, even if they were kept from the public, which they wouldn't be.
This would be the greatest stimulus to progress since the invention of fire.
No one could succesfully sit on it.

At least one inventor had his device confiscated by the Defense Department on the grounds that its free energy technology endangered national security interests. This inventor was put under a gag order, so that he could not even tell the press that his N machine had been confiscated. Tough to get past this bit. Kind of convenient that this unnamed "inventor" is under a "gag order".

well? let's see it work. prove it with demonstrable facts and not supposition and inferences.
if you want my money you'd better have something concrets that works beyond suspicion.

100 kilowatt AC generator costs a little over $100,000
This is a gross exaggeration. A 100kW diesel generator costs $25k. I guess I question the truth of this until I actually see one in action.

When you drive a car, the heat latent in the gasoline is extracted through burning, which propels the pistons. Right? Wrong says DePalma. His understanding of the process is that the gasoline-air mixture, catalyzed by an electric spark, acts as a "molecular antenna" to release energy from space. (Twilight Zone theme plays in background.)

I don't dismiss anything in this realm out of hand. There's too many phemonema and not enough solid explanations. Tesla, especially, likely invented stuff we've never even thought of reproducing to this day.

This N-machine is covered in
The Homopolar Handbook: A Definitive Guide to Faraday Disk & N-Machine Technologies
by Thomas Valone.
Essentially, it performs exactly as the convential physics would suggest and there is no over-unity gain.
The part about the government confiscating a design may be true since the main use (in recent times) for these homopolar generators was to power rail guns during Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative (Star Wars).

Think outside the box for a moment. A heat pump seemingly generates more heating/cooling than the energy required. But the heat pump moves heat rather than creating it from the input energy.

His astonishing claim is that the present versions of the N machine can generate up to five times more power than it consumes. And all he has to do is turn it on and the government won't let him.
Not this sh!t again.

"outside the box thinking" is precisely what con artists want you to engage in whenever they come up with some scheme like this.
nobody was ever too SMART to be scammed, but there were/are a lot of people too DUMB to be taken in. One of the first thing a scammer will do is compliment your intelligence.
the more I think about this the less convinced I am as to it's authenticity. does this guy use a tinfoil hat to keep the government off his case?
