They also have to compile the evidence to make a strong case. Or not.

I think it is more a matter of making a strong case against all of the co-conspirators.  Once Berger was caught, almost certainly on camera, violating the law, not to mention endangering National Security, I'll guarantee you that the FBI went to a judge and got wiretaps for all phones that Berger would be using.  Those tapes would have led to the people he was stealing the documents for.

When you wish to charge a former President, three sitting Senators, one of whom is the current Democrat candidate for President, and probably several prominent members of the MSM, with Treason, you really need to have all of you facts nailed down.

October Surprise, anyone? (evil grin)

Maybe, maybe not.  If you've got that kind of evidence and it is rock solid, the best thing for the country would be to show it to the traitors and convince them to throw the election.  If this Clancy like scenario plays out (exactly what happened in Clear And Present Danger, the book, not the movie) I'm looking for several October Surprises, but they'll be obviously self inflicted by the Kerry campaign.

Spokesperson for the Archives has said there were no cameras, FWIW.

Do you really believe that? I am of the firm belief that this country is suffering greatly due to the unpunished crimes of the Clinton administration. Letting Berger off the hook, in exchange for an election we should win anyway, would be a grave mistake, IMHO.

Color me unconvinced on this point. The only real effect of doing this would be to tell the traitors to do a more competent job of treason next time. I really think that the American public needs to know whether or not the the Democratic Party leadership contains traitors to America, and that we're able to take it as grown-ups.

Tease! I cannot think of a better end to the clinton Karmageddon than your scenario. It's not enough for me that they're gone. I want them hosed, humiliated, and hoisted on their own petard. IS IT ASKING TOO MUCH?!?
