Direct TV has a Tivo receiver. However they have limited channels.

Yes, there are combo DirecTV receiver and TiVo units, commonly referred to as DirecTiVo. I have two of them in my home. DirecTV also broadcasts a small but growing number of high-definition channels, which requires a high-definition DirecTV receiver. I have one of those. Unfortunately, there's no such thing (yet) as any TiVo that records in high-definition. Rumor is that we may see one in 2005.

Oh, since HD-Net covered both the conventions in high-def, I was hoping they'd do the debates, as well. But they didn't have the first one, and neither the CBS or NBC channels that I have access to in my high-def package had it in high-def either.
