Just calm down everyone
I know you got trolls here trying to stir stuff up
Bush is still a head a lil and still at or above 50 head to head and Approve so chill out and you can see the samples for yourself so take a chill
To: MarlboroRed
Surprisingly, as we speak, Bush is on the upswing in the Iowa Electronic Market. Right now it is about 60/40 Bush up from a low of 54/46 earlier in the day.

those are usually released with the breakdown of the poll, responses tospecific questions by party affiliation. Apparently they haven't released this yet.
This poll is crap. 78 non-registered voters, done on a weekend, undecideds shrink to 1% of sample?
Pure crap.
Oh well, at least it will be fun when they release a weekday poll in a week or so that's back to normal - then the DU crowd can panic.

All things considered, the first debate was a draw at best. Public opinion says Kerry won. So be it. Bush lost the opportunity to put Kerry away. I've never seen GWBush so unprepared before. The President needs to move on. He needs to get more mentally focused and lose the defensive posture. Bush can't afford to lose the next debate.

With a 3-4 percent margin of error. We know they oversampled Republicans before, I want to see their samples here.

Gallup usually bases their published results on those who say they are likely to vote and throw out the non-likely voters.

Yes, you are correct. I've ordered my Potassium Cyanide from Canada, and am in the process of laying out my white jumpsuit and blue tennis shoes. Just in case, you know, Bush is not prepared sufficiently. Please *ping* me with your post-debate impressions before I break the capsule.
Get either a grip or a Zoloft.

49 to 49 with only 2 undecided?? Never happen. This is a rigged poll.

On who cares more about people, Kerry had 49 to Bush 44. Silly result about a candidate who genuinely doesn't give a RATS a$$ about anybody but himself and his wealthy snob Euros.

These things sort of work like Mt Helens. Slowly at first, and then a bit faster. The debate made things more fluid, and the magma is on the move. Whether it erupts depends on future events, and the spin doctors. It is just too early to really know the ultimate fallout.

The fact that Kerry's boost was due to something as fleeting as a debate tells me that his higher numbers aren't from real support, but infatuation. And that tells me they're bound to come down.
To: Torie
Dems made a big mistake with their ad declaring Kerry the winner of the debate and George Bush a liar. Michael Moore wil love it, middle America will hate it.

I will be one of the first to admit I do not like the tends the national polls have shown this weekend. But lets not forget that the national vote doesn't elect a president. Rather the vote of each of the 50 states. And I have yet seen a poll indicating President Bush is beginning to lose any of the states he is projected to win. I keep reminding myself that Kerry carries 2 or 3 of the most populated states. In sheer numbers he can win every national poll yet come up very short in the state to state count.

As for Limbaugh, its best to get outside of the talk radio fishbowl. And into what, the lamestream media headlight glare, perhaps?
If Bush was "lackluster" then sKerry was the epitome of a snakeoil salesman. Greasy, slimey and slippery. sKerry said words that will and are coming back to haunt him. Mostly Bush looked impatient with Kerry. Which frankly wasn't an unusual reaction to the bald-faced lied his opponent was saying.
Guess what most voters are going to remember.
