One of the greatest factors in the fall of the Roman Empire was that the Roman citizens did not want to fight or go to war anymore.
SO- they outsourced the defense. Read your history. Attila the HUN was Roman trained.

John Kerry wants to do this with our military. He wants to include French and German troops in any venture. Another way of looking at is he wants outsource our National Defense.

If private businesses choose to outsource in order to become more productive, then that is their right, IMHO. The outsourcing of the nations defense however, would be inexcusable.

Strange how Kerry cries about the moving of certain types of jobs overseas (as is happening in EVERY industrialized nation on earth), but see's NOTHING wrong with turning over our national defense to those who will NEVER have our best interests at heart.

Interesting times.

Actually, it is not that they didn't want to fight, they could no longer breed as quickly as the Germans. While we do this volunterly, they had lead piping to blame (in the Western Empire not the Eastern, which lived 1000 years longer). Also, due to slave labor (read now cheap Mexican labor) the small farmer and businessman became dirt poor and indebted and thus lost his investment in the system and reason to uphold it.

just to let you know, Attila the Hun was definately not Roman trained (The leading Roman general against Atilla was Hun trained, however); romans mainly outsourced their military to captured german tribes.

Secondly this is not just our war, it is a world war on terror. Its their war on the West, not just the US.
