I'm retired Navy, with combat action in special warfare in Beirut, Grenada and the first Gulf War. When I die, I'm to be cremated and interred at Arlington.

The guy with the sand cammies doesn't have complete battle-dress. Most likely some twidget who picked it up at a surplus store. He's wearing the wrong subdued Captain's bars, too. Another fool, sadly. Hey....maybe he's one of John Kerry's new "winter soldiers"?

I may reconsider where I'll be buried -- my thought now is cremation and burial at sea -- I'd like one more "CAT" shot! HST, Arlington is becoming more a possibility. Gotta think on it some more.
I was not at Arlington yesterday, physically. I have FReeped many times with the DC Chapter, and wanted to make the road trip FRom Jacksonville, but just was not able to manage it -- too much going on here to get away. HST, I was with them in spirit!
Re: the "Captain," obvious to me before I even saw his "tracks," that he was a military "wannabe" imposter. WDC is full of imposters, not the least of which are those who would have you believe they are former military. Most of them are very easy to ID.
Some of the other imposters inside the Evil Beltway are not so easy to ID. They talk a good game and call themselves "public servants," but one would be hard pressed to prove the point, based on results over the past 70 years: higher taxes; more intrusive government; less personal FReedom; US Constitution mostly trashed; inflation; scandals; lost wars; Roe v. Wade; punitive gun control laws; SS; Medicare; Depts. of Education, Commerce, HUD, OSHA, EPA; "affirmative action;" political correctness. The list goes on and on. Need I say more?
