I get particularly upset when the left wing bastards use Arlington as a back drop for their lies.

Many of the marchers went into the cemetery Visitors Center - with their signs, black wreaths, and black messages - giving no thought whatsoever to the fact that many people inside the building were getting directions to gravesites of fallen comrades from wars past and present, of dads and granddads long dead, friends, uncles, aunts, cousins and neighbors.

Even though we were there to demonstrate against the use of Arlington as a backdrop for an anti-American demonstration, RaceBannon and I deliberately carried our signs with the blank side out as we walked from parking lot to the sidewalk. They've done their part, they have earned their their rest, we wouldn't think to disturb their peace.

Took a lot to not say anything to the "Hate America Left" inside the gate.

RE: The question about the "poser" in the uniform.. I concur with many of the comments so far about the likelyhood this is a "wannabe" trying to make an impression for the visual MSM.

The thing about his uniform that jumps out at me is the position of the unit ID patch on the right shoulder at the sleeve seam... WITH THE U. S. FLAG PATCH below the unit patch.. THIS IS A MAJOR NO-NO.. The flag patch is to always be at the top of the sleeve - at the seam on the right shoulder.. Sad commentary....

There was a bigger-than-lifesize statue of a soldier (IIRC) behind us; but I was so busy that I never got a chance to take a close look at it to see who it was/who it honored.

As you can see, your signs were a big hit and were put to good use by passers-by who were angered enough at what the leftists were doing at Arlington to join us. I wasn't sure that you were going to come up for this event, but I had loaded your signs into the truck yesterday morning (just in case) so that I could get them safely back to you. I'll take good care of them until we meet again.

Leftists carry cardboard boxes covered by black fabric and made to look like coffins.  U.S. Park Police motorcycle officers keep them on that side of the street.     Park Police "cavalry" covered our backs.  Fortunately, the leftists never charged us and the horse-mounted officers did not have to charge in to stop leftists.  (In 2002 leftists charged DC Chapter members and were dramatically blocked at the last second by mounted officers charging in from one side and motorcycle officers from the other side.  That time they saved us from getting beaten by the "peace" protestors.)

Doctor Raoul did what he does best, using his sound system to rally the FReepers and demoralize leftists.
