I have to agree with you. He didn't seem quite as prepared as he should've and when asked if Kerry had the moral attributes to be President, all he said that it was a "loaded question" and never mentioned Kerry's anti-war antics - including belonging to an organization that advocated assassination of Senators.
Bush did let all his fans down but... I still love and believe in him. He will understand what he did and come back stronger than ever. That's his track record.
