Ah, correct. Registered voters AND the weekend.
Yeah, I like this operation in Samarra, and we need to do the same in Fallujah.
The +2 margin in the sample are the raw numbers, in the weighted sample it is about +5 Dem. Newsweek does weight its polls that way.
In other words, roughly about 39% Dem, 34% Rep, 27% Ind
My post #49 is now reflected on Powerline
I wouldn't want to depend on you in a crisis.
Looks like the same doom and gloomers when Kerry was leading in July/August. This poll is still within the margin of error and is a snapshot based on a debate. I just dont believe that people can switch their minds by a margin of 15 points. Right after the Dem convention, the momentum swung towards Bush and it is going to be close as the Bush folks have been saying. Like some others have said, we need to campaign like we are 10 points behind and win this one for Bush.
Just click on their name at the bottom of their post. :)
We will, and probably by the end of the year. The goal is to pacify as many cities as possible before the January elections. Then leave Iraqi troops in the cities to guard them. We will pull back to our bases.
i think that turnout will be +4-5 for the DEMs. 39% might be too high though.
Oh yeh, "sugarcoated" was a couple of weeks ago wasn't it?
You can spin it anyway you want.
The fact is Bush could have won this one in a walk.
Something was done to him. He was sabotaged. He was systematically under-prepped and over-cautioned and obviously over-tired.
Kerry has billions.
Rove sold our President down the river for a swiftboat load of cash.
Gosh, why are you commenting on a debate you evidently didn't watch?!
Oh, I am wrong,it's worst than I thought.
It's NEWSWEEK! So who am I suppose to belive? Newsweek or CNN/Gallup, and Rassmussion that show NO Debate bump for Kerry?
Why do some many Freepers suffer from McCainism?
"McCainism" A mental defect where the poster feels the need to constantly run down his own side while never pointing out the gross flaws in the opposition. Mental defect caused by the fraudulent belief that being hyper critical of their own side shows poster to be wise and intellectually sophisticated. Cure: Massive does of mockery for their doom and gloom pomposity.
Bush was absolutely pathetic and inept at the debates. I'm a HUGE supporter, but I called it. I KNEW Skerry would take the lead. Bush was disgusting. Not so much with his stuttering and stammering, but for letting Skerry get away with his lies. Time and again... And calling Bush a liar in front of all of America, and NO RESPONSE.
BTW, I'm computer illiterate, too. FR has taught me a lot. Especially the "HTML Sandbox" here:
