After last nights debate, President Bush was campaigning in Allentown Pennsylvania and later in Manchester N.H. and pointed out the many contradicting and false statements that passed through the heavily lipstick covered lips of his opponent in last nights debate

"Eric thought the President blew him away, because he SPOKE the TRUTH!"
I firmly believe that most viewers shared Eric's assessment UNTIL they listened to the pundits/LAMEstream media -- both of whom have a vested interest in declaring Kerry the winner!!!
BTW: Why would any sane person EXPECT that President Bush would defeat Kerry on 'style points' -- as an attorney/senator, Kerry is a PROFESSIONAL debater (an academic elitist) . . . this was HIS environment, and yet at best, he only managed a 'draw' while providing the President with a plethora of campaign soundbites!!!!!
Happy Birthday and many more!
Happy Birthday Fawnn!

I took it upon myself to call and list those lies and the horrible ideas. In my opinion, we all should be doing this.
Remember, the pundits all told us Gore won the first of the 2000 debates. But he lost support because as the week wore on he was caught in lies and people remembered the sighing.
I am convinced if we keep pointing out the absolutely appalling stuff Kerry said, we will get people to look at him with disfavor.
I think the expectations will be lower, too. I just pray he hits a home run and has the chance--and TAKES that chance--to really hit Kerry hard.
What do you think Kerry will do before the debate next week?
Wax his legs???
Have a FANTASTIC time! Maybe Laura will be with him. Hope you get another kiss, and tell him all of us at FR are praying for him.
When the true meaning of the words Kerry said sink in, he'll go down even farther in the polls, IMO....
(I'm ashamed of myself for being so anxious and so mad last night. WHERE was my faith??)
As the preferred Prime Minister; PM Howard is ahead of the oppostion leader in the polls (48% to 35%).
But because of the way we vote here it is the party preference that counts. For the Coalition (Liberal Party and National Party - PM Howard is the leader of these Coalition parties) they are behind the oppostion Labor party - Coaltion 47.5% to Labor's 52%. The difference in percentage is taken up by independent parties or individuals.
It is very tight but I still think that PM Howard will lead the Coalition to another victory - there really is too much at stake here both home and abroad.
How's Jonathan doing? Is he headed overseas anytime soon?
I was upset by Bush's style last night, but very relieved to wake up and find that most real people saw thru Kerry's slickness and saw the President's substance.
Meanwhile, the Rats are all atwitter because Kerry can string words together.

I just caught a bit of repartee between Alan Colmes and Terry Holt, of the Bush campaign.
paraphrase ---
Colmes: Since everyone agrees that Kerry had the better performance, is President Bush going to change/work on/improve his style for the next debate?
Holt: President Bush expressed himself well and addressed the issues...
Colmes: I'm not talking about issues, I'm talking about the President's style. Why won't you address his style? Is he going to change it?
Holt: [I don't know what he said - Colmes drives me away from the TV]
Oh my you're just heading into Spring and we have winter to look forward to! Oh well, all things in balance I suppose.

***his 'support' of the troops made him FURIOUS.***
I feel bad for ANY troops who heard his spewing about the troops. It made ME furious too. How hurtful. I think the Pres. pointed out adequately how someone who does not support the troops cannot be in charge of them.
Why won't you address his STYLE and ignore the depth of what he SAID??? SHEEESHHH!!!
My comfort in this is that the pundits aren't watched except by political junkies. Most average Americans tuned out after the debate was over, and they don't watch Hannity and Colmes or any of the rest.
And for the next few days, neither do I. HGTV is very soothing.
Wow Ohio, what great news! Please share a second by second account with us!! And give out best regards to Eric too. Will he be in uniform tomorrow? Gee I hope the Dose pix will show you guys...

"(I'm ashamed of myself for being so anxious and so mad last night. WHERE was my faith??)"
I was a wreck myself (and will continue to be a wreck for the next 31 days)!! HOWEVER, we must hold it together for the President's sake . . . we MUST get him re-elected!!
BTW: I'm actually more concerned about voter fraud in Ohio! Did you hear that in the Columbus area MORE registration forms have been submitted than actually live in the area (according to the last census)!!! I've heard similar things about Cleveland! WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT THIS?!
It looks like Colmes is wearing lipstick tonight . . .
No uniform..........just his little cute smiling self. ;o)
Somthing funny and I mean peculiar happened on my local TV News last night.
They showed very brief highlights of the debate and they had toned down Kerry's skin colour and made President Bush look a bit more "tanned"!!
My hubby reckons I should go and get my eyes tested but I swear they tried to make the President look a little more orange-y.
He still looked great though ....
We're powerless politically over fraud, but we have access to a power that these cheaters cannot overcome.
The power of the Almighty God, and the power of His truth!
There won't be enough fraud to overcome God's Sovereignty!
