After last nights debate, President Bush was campaigning in Allentown Pennsylvania and later in Manchester N.H. and pointed out the many contradicting and false statements that passed through the heavily lipstick covered lips of his opponent in last nights debate
ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO SANITY ISLAN
Dr. Deb. & ohio .. I NEED your days good/bad for our Ohio/WV get together. Email or FReep mail me.
I think the Pres. does wear just a tad bit of makeup; his complexion seems to be a little more even during important TV events as opposed to say, a press conf. in the Rose garden.
Also, on Dr. Phil they showed just a little of what happened before the show started and they were at least powdering the Pres. IT was neat to see how they got ready for the show. I don't think he would ever put up with a lot (like Kerry and apparently Colmes tonight)--I bet he even fusses over the little that they do put on.
I too noticed Kerry's tan had been "fixed" last night. I thought W looked very natural.
I mentioned today at the end of yesterday's Dose that I just love President Bush's "funny faces".. grimmaces etc.
cute as they can be. Wish a few of we Dosers could be there to punch out sKerry's lights for being such an A$$ & eliciting such responses...
grrrrr
Hi--how've you been? Isn't it Oct. when the polls become important and mean something?
From several things I've heard/read, the polls might not really reflect what people thought of the debates for several days. When I see the clips, IMHO the Pres. comes across much better than he did in the debate. Or maybe I was just being extra critical last night.
Oh I fully agree with you about PM Howard. He has demonstrated true leadership.
Are the liberals and leftists as obnoxious, ornery and downright disgusting in your country as they are here?
Prairie :^D
The only reason he was making those horrible faces was because he was so disgusted by Kerry's absurd statements. He was probably thinking of all his hard work and what would happen to it if Kerry was in there. I think he was also hurting for hte troops Kerry was putting down.
I could almost hear him thinking, "I could be at my ranch relaxing with Laura and the girls and here I am listening to this girly-man with the fake tan and manicure spout on and on with no real knowledge of how things really work."
Hello prairie!
How ya been?
Thank you so much for the dose! It calms me just to look at these pictures! Those of you who get to see GWB tomorrow, be sure to report. I guess I am glad not to live in a contested state, but I sure would love to be able to see him (or Laura!).
Jonathan is fine..he is still on active duty as an MP and informed me today that he wants to go back to school next semester....he wants to change his major from Criminalogy(which he has an Associates Degree) to something else...he's not sure what...he might want to be a teacher..or join the reg Army....he doesn't know what he wants...but at least he wants to go back to school...I just can't picture him as a teacher...LOL
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . . I think you're being abit too critical of the President's performance last evening -- I encourage you to visit Hugh Hewitt's website and read his debate score card (half way down the page) . . . it's VERY insightful!!!

The polls will be volatile until after the last debate -- then we can start taking them a little more seriously!
What?????? Are you kidding???!!???!?
Speaking of the Pres's facial expressions have you seen the DNC ad they compiled today? It's nothing but the Pres's expressions which they try to say is the Face of Frustration.
Actually, I think the ad works FOR the President. Honestly, it makes you feel sympathy him and you realize how much he's controlling what he'd really LIKE to say.

***Are the liberals and leftists as obnoxious, ornery and downright disgusting in your country as they are here?***
You betcha! We have a favorite expression for them in my house - we call them "rent-a-crowd". I think that they have a secret little island somewhere where they breed, then migrate from. Or maybe they are just from another planet! LOL
Nature of the smelly Beast then I guess. Must suck to be them, LOL!
Prairie
But I just found out that there will be 200 people on stage (it's a full theatre stage), so we might not be very close........
Still VERY excited, OBVIOUSLY!
Good one Prairie! LOL I think you and I know who WE'D prefer to be....
Rush talked about that today. He said they have a collection of pictures. and the Pubbies have a collection of QUOTES to destroy Kerry.
HAHAHAHA
At the following website, you can watch a nice (albeit brief) interview with the President after his rally today in New Hampshire:

Relative to our lunch, just let me know what you and Ohio, et al, decide -- I can be flexible if given enough notice! [I prefer a date on the weekend, but will try to accommodate whatever works for the rest of you!]
