Kerry was chastising Bush saying soldiers families are sending them protective equipment when HE KERRY is the one that voted against sending them that very equipment. He knows its a lie but will do anything to try to get ahead. W needs to articulate Kerry's voting record in a strong way. He better become an expert on Kerry's 20 year voting record in the Senate. And there was never any mention of how Kerry didnt even bother to show up 85% of the time to vote.

exactly. i'm still fuming over that debate (especially after seeing the recent Newsweek poll). no matter what the spin, this was easily preventable, irresponsible, sheer stupidity.

it was Bush's best shot since it was the debate that dealt with foreign policy.

i don' care what the topic of the next two debates is--Bush needs to make up for this by saying in the next debate what he failed to say in the first debate, WHETHER OR NOT, the topic is foreign policy.
