I loved it, hence the screen name.
The new US issue Italian .380 long does not foster any warm or fuzzy feelings in me.
The only time I wanted a pistol in Iraq, I wanted a big hole reliably at short range, not several "what if it works?" smaller holes that were NATO standard or helped streamline the logistical trail.
When I qualified with the .45, my S-3 told me to take lots of ammo and not to return until I had put enough holes in the target. I came back with the requisite number of holes. Don't ask how many rounds it took, but I essentially did it by firing the first round and then "adjusting" fire using the puffs of dirt kicked up behind the target.
