A caller on Rush today said that the President had spent the morning touring some of the most catastrophic hurricane damage imaginable, and that Bush must have been shell-shocked. What kind of a cyborg could walk away from seeing so many lives devastated, and then several short hours later act as if he'd spent the day being buffed, sanded, manicured and made up as Kerry probably did?

But also, maybe -- just for a day before each debate -- he might want to avoid touring such devastation. He can fly out there the next day.

I know that. And the proof is in the fact that TODAY W looked very rested. To me, his tiredness last night was just an indication that he is doing his job, something that Kerry will never understand.
