An anti-Hannity rally is planned for Monday — the latest in a series of demonstrations
and debates at the college — and students circulating a petition to recall the decision
to host Moore and the student body officers who invited him have enough signatures
to get a recall election.

Hannity should offer to pay Moore's 40K fee, with the provisio that
they appear on the same state together to debate AND Hannity gets the broadcast rights.

State Legislators are now considering a revamp/abolishment of these student fees. It's long overdue. Student goverment was always a joke. Even when my father attended university, he wondered what the point of the fees was. All student governments do is fund the pet projects and clubs. Basically pork spending on the back of students with little/no oversight.
I really hope they will abolish the fees. If you want to be on student government, fine. Hold an election and volunteer the time with a donated budget and no stipend!

Vreeland e-mailed me back. His group is still focused on cancelling Moore's appearance. They are tough - very good group to deal with. Conservatives with a spine, imagine that.

Anyway, they haven't planned a rally so I told him not to worry about it and we'll coordinate with the college repubs (who haven't responded yet) in case he's unsuccessful. His group can then join in on the rally without any logistical concerns.

I freepmailed someone from the DC chapter to see if they have any sign graphics etc available. We'll see what they come up with.

PS - I'm proud to say that I'm freeping in my pajamas. Good night all.

The UVSC College Repubs e-mailed me back with what they will be doing pre-Moore (freep mail me if interested).

Binger - they state someone will donate signs (I guess the mean you). Hopefully they have contacted you with what you need...If not, let me know and I'll call them.

Redrock and JPJones - You have freepmail.
