Exactly. Something else to remember is their answers are going to picked apart for the next week. The only thing you can say bad about Bush is that he garbled his syntax a little, stammered, and most significantly didn't call Kerry on his lies as much as he should.
Now, concerning Kerry, there is going to be discussion on his support for the tax hike, his committment to the Global Warming Treaty, his opposition to multi-lateral talks with North Korea while demanding multi-lateralism in Iraq.
Big win for Bush.
I'm not sure how that will play with the undecideds, but to me, it made him appear unrehearsed and very sincere - so I thought that was actually all right.
Kerry looked polished, but there's only so much you can do to hide the fact that someone is an arrogant a__hole who has nothing to offer besides criticism.
(Trying to be positive here...I think this probably helped Kerry and hurt Bush a little, because it's hard to win against someone who will say anything, no matter how outrageous a lie.)
