To: what's up

too many nervous nelllies here.

Kerry still isn't likable. He's the boston flailer, throwing around accusations and 'plans' to see what sticks.

Bush simply had to stand up and respond to the questions, be likeable, and remind the people that even though moveon has been calling him the devil incarnate for the past 3 years, he's still the person they want in the oval office.

Relax everyone. Get some perspective. Micro analyzing every little comment isn't how the target audience works.

Just caught a few brief snippets on Fox...

Mor-TON said that BUSH started strong and forceful...momentum swung later, BUT BY THEN, MANY FOLKS HAD LOST INTEREST AND SWITCHED CHANNELS

Kristol said Kerry "survived."

At the absolute worst, this debate was a draw. Bush and Kerry both had some highs and some lows. Both worked in their talking points, Kerry probably a few more.

Absent any outright gaffes, nobody's vote was changed tonight. For my money, W. did exactly what he needed to do. :)
