He obviously is not a gifted debater. Kerry left several doors wide open and Dubya didn't take a single one. My fav? Right after Kerry bashes the Iraq war, Lehrer asks him if it was a mistake. Kerry answer, "Of course not!" Bush could have hanged him right there and then. :(
Bush is simply not a good debater, but the American people know that already. As long as he holds his ground, he'll do alright. Kerry can "win" this technically, and gain a few points in the polls for a while. In the end, however, people know that being a good debater does not equal a good President.
