Thread 1 - Pre-Debate discussion
And your alternative to Bush is?
WTF??
Bush didn't attack Kerry on his military 'career' -- does say he changes sides too many times.
Kerry mentioned Laura but Bush didn't mention Tayrayzah.
Certainty. You can be certain and be wrong. 1 point for Kerry.
Bush: I won't change my core values. You can't wilt under the pressure in the White House.
Kerry: I've never wilted in my life. I've never waivered in my life.
WHAT A CROCK, SENATOR KERRY. DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING?????????????
Kerry said "nuclear proliferation" waaay to fast. He'll shut down the program developing our own bombs.
KERRY = APPEASEMENT.
JFKennedy mentioned again.
Bush SCORES "WMD" instead of NuKuLar -- good job!
But Wallace is leaning toward Kerry in his questioning. It's OBVIOUS, way too obvious.
Or is it me?
Why is that stuck in the middle instead of moving?
I think Pres Bush is doing ok, except when listenednig to kerry's response, obviously he finds kerry out in left field. I think Kerry appears well but has no real message no real plans other than I will do better and use international efforts, which most people know is false hope. Bush should nail him on the sanctions and oil for food fiasco that proved the sanctions would not work. Bush has been clear and repeated his themen, be clear and steadfast and not change due to politics..
I am surprised Kerry mentioned Vietnam 6 or 7 times so far..he still hasn't learned that is self inflicting again.
WTF??
Thanks! What an evening.
Lehrer asking another biased question. He has not once questioned Kerry's record or his constant flip-flopping. How did the guy get this gig???
I'm listening and reading FR.
Bush isn't good at putting his thoughts together and articulating them in 2 minutes or 90 seconds. He pauses and stutters while he his getting his thoughts together. Once he gets going, he does fine, but by then time is running out. Kerry throws out too points and uses too many terms that NOBODY understands. He'll impress the intellectuals but not average folks in middle
America.
This is the most tedious debate that I have ever seen. Kerry hasn't made his points well and W has missed several opportunities.
The pace of the debate is so painfully slow. I think that actually works to W's advantage because Kerry will get the blame.
Bush scores big on N. Korea and Russia,,and he is calm and cool with it now
Thanks for starting this PD discussion thread.
Regards
President Bush is doing a wonderful job tonight. He is an honest human being with strong convictions about what is right and wrong. He is standing tall on foreign policies and our relationship with different countries around the globe. Kerry is spouting a lot of 'THEORIES' but no tried and true actions he has taken. I will take facts over fiction anyday of the week.
Excellent... ZING!
Thanks for the post.
I totally agree..so far, throughout tonight's debate, I think Kerry has looked and acted like an insincere, pompous ass...and absolutely nothing of substance is coming out of his mouth..it's just words, most of which are lies....and he keeps bringing up that Vietnam crap..he is so transparent.
"Bush has this one in the bag. Kerry's hands are flailing around with his hands like he's trying to land a plane and is so long winded he's putting me to sleep."
Kerry: The boston Flailer.
Off your meds?
kerry looks like stan laurel on botox
The AOL Poll on my welcome page has Bush winning 59% to Kerry at 41%.
Democratic Undergroud is laughing at all the doom and gloom over here. They are posting some of our posts.
