Looks like the letter had an impact. Although MSNBC did not respond to Brock, a spokeswoman for the network told HOH late Wednesday that the network has decided “not to go with Frank for the debate.” In fact, MSNBC won’t conduct polling at all now, she said.
Brock was delighted to hear the news. “It is encouraging that MSNBC responded to criticism in a constructive way. Clearly they realized that employing a partisan pollster does not reflect well on them as a responsible media outlet.”

It's funny reading about this flamboyant buffoon, Brock, celebrating like he accomplished something that was already fait accompli. Talk about being insecure....whew. Maybe the boys at the bathhouse haven't been paying enough attention to him lately.

The MSM has figured out the obvious. If the polls on Friday show Kerry either holding stteady or losing ground the election is over. They'd rather have no news than the bad news they are expecting.
I miss Dr Bob Arnot too. He was the best war reporter bar none.
That's code for "I might dump Kaplan's baby after the election."
If Chris Matthews is still a rounding error to the O'Reilly Factor on November 2nd, look for Gates to disinvest in MSNBC.

By the way, that's an interesting title that I bet Frank wouldn't appreciate. First, Luntz was not "fired". Second, it the title contains an oily innuendo that is patently unfair to Luntz. Just my 2 cents.

Apparently, David Brock told his buddies at MSNBC to fire Luntz.
Its only because they know what Luntz's focus group will decide. They also know that Frank is not a partisan. He tells it like it is and they just can't take that chance.
considering what is known about Brock I don't know if it was appropriate to talk about being in bed with Luntz.

I remember watching/listening to this when it was happening. Agree, Bob was the best in Iraq.
You mean I won't have to watch all those ridiculous people that they gathered off the street turn dials and spout foolishness during the debates? this is very good news.
The last time Luntz did a focus group it was the eve of George W. Bush's speech and the crowd went through the roof for Zell Miller's speech and VP Cheney as well. Most of the so-called undecideds were swayed to Bush/Cheney ticket and Luntz said he recorded the highest levels he's ever observed when Zell kept hitting them out of the park and Luntz's meters literally went off the scale. He's not been heard from since.
I think Kerry is seeing the land slide a bit under his feet. If the disappointed communist and enviro-wacko faction sees him as a loser, they may shift to a true love, Nader.
Some recent polls make me wonder if the reason Kerry is down is that some of his support is starting to go to Nader.
