I got to see Bush the Elder give a speech at the dedication of the memorial at the LSU Parade Ground. We presented him with a couple LSU hats since there are many tiger fans in Texas and Florida. This was in 1999 before W decided to make a run for the presidency.
If W showed up here wearing one of those hats that would be so awesome.
