Well yeah he does, if you count being in their presence when they bring him his PB&J sandwiches, draw his bath water, hold his car door open, and wipe his royal tushie as spending time with them.

I happen to know on good authority that once a month he and Tereyza invite Manuelo in from the garden and serve champagne in beer mugs, just to show the gardener they are one of the common people.
